How to Extend iPhone Battery Life

If there's something that bothers more cell phone users, it's battery drain while you're on the phone. It's happened to almost everyone, and at least once it completely surprised you. When you use a mobile phone with iPhone power, it is easy to understand why the battery starts to drain. When you're listening to your favorite song, checking your emails, and texting multiple friends at once, you need a lot of power for your cell phone. Thus, you will start draining your cell phone battery faster than you thought.

Although on Apple's website they clearly explain battery life expectations, they only include information if you are running one app at a time. However, if iPhone users are known for anything, it's their ability to multitask. However, multitasking means shorter battery life.

However, there are several things you can do to extend your iPhone's battery life. Of course, the iPhone isn't known to drain its battery very quickly, so there's always room for long-lasting battery performance. If you follow these tips, you'll have an iPhone that lasts longer than you can imagine. Perhaps the best advice anyone with an iPhone can take is to simply turn off Bluetooth if you're not using it. Very few people understand that when you keep Bluetooth on, when you're not using it, you drain your battery.

This is because a certain amount of power is controlled by the Bluetooth section of your iPhone and the power is drained as the phone constantly searches for other Bluetooth devices. If you don't want to pair with a Bluetooth device, make sure Bluetooth is turned off.

Another tip to extend your iPhone battery life is to always lock your iPhone when you are done using it. When you're done talking on the phone with your best friend, checking email, or texting, be sure to turn on the lock button. A lot of people wait for the screen to turn off on its own after using it, so while it might sound like a good idea, you're wasting battery life doing it. Also, be sure to set auto-lock, as it's a great way to make sure your phone will lock in case you forget it. Many iPhone owners set it to automatically lock for five minutes after use.

However, if you multiply those five minutes of power consumption by ten times a day, your battery won't last as long as you think. This is why it is always suggested to set auto lock for one (1) minute after you finish using your phone. This will ensure that the iPhone screen does not stay on when not in use. If you want to have an easy way to save battery, this is the way to do it.
